Hymn - Fight the Good Fight

Fight the Good Fight

Fight the good fight with all thy might!

Christ is thy strength, and Christ thy right;
Lay hold on life, and it shall be
Thy joy and crown eternally.

Run the straight race thro' God's good grace,
Lift up thine eyes, and seek His face;
Life with its way before us lies,
Christ is the path, and Christ the prize.

Cast care aside, lean on thy Guide,
His boundless mercy will provide;
Trust, and thy trusting soul shall prove
Christ is its life, and Christ its love.

Faint not nor fear, His arms are near,
He changeth not, and thou art dear;
Only believe, and thou shalt see
That Christ is all in all to thee.

Hymn - I Know That My Redeemer Liveth

I Know That My Redeemer Liveth
I know that my Redeemer liveth,
And on the earth again shall stand;
I know eternal life He giveth,
That grace and power are in His hand.
Refrain
I know, I know, that Jesus liveth,
And on the earth again shall stand;
I know, I know, that life He giveth,
That grace and power are in His hand.
I know His promise never faileth,
The Word He speaks, it cannot die;
Though cruel death my flesh assaileth,
Yet I shall see Him by and by.
Refrain
I know my mansion He prepareth,
That where He is there I may be;
O wondrous thought, for me He careth,
And He at last will come for me.

Grace Defined

Grace defined

Grace is the heart attitude of God whereby He deals with sinful man in order to save him (Ephesians 2:8-9). This is the theme of the gospel preached in the church age (2 Corinthians 6:1, Acts 20:24).

Grace is the quality that appears in a person (John 1:14). This quality enables on to become poor willingly (2 Corinthians 8:9) and to give of one’s possessions for the benefits of others (2 Corinthians 8:19; 9:8).

Grace is a temporary period of time given to a man to see how he will act (Ezra9:8, Galatians 5:4)

Grace is a favourable impression one person makes on another (Genesis 6:8, Judges 6:17).

Grace is that which assists one in making a favorable impression on another (Proverbs 3:22; 4:9).

Grace is a special bestowment given by God in times of particular trial (Hebrews 4:16, Romans 1:6)

Grace is the fulfillment of a completed salvation (1 Peter 1:13)
