While I was in Sierra Leone, I needed some major help learning the lingua franca of Sierra Leone, Krio. Krio is the primary language of communication among Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad. Being the blonde apatoo (white girl) that I was it took me a little while to get the hang of it.
Alfred, the man helping me learn, supplied me with passages of scripture, translated into English to assist my learning. So if you ever wondered how John 11 might look like in Krio here it is.
