Settling In
Sierra Leone...
my destination!

The ride from Freetown to Bahaman  took about 7 ½ hours,
because of the weight of all the luggage.

My mosquito net works wonderfully.

I am not sure what this is, but it has a lot of legs.
It is the closest I have come to a snake, so far. Amen!

In the container with some of the boys.

I love sharing Bible stories with the children.

The children enjoy touching me, hugging me, and feeling my hair.
I am very happy to be here!!

I have already started teaching Bible classes,
and there are plans to add more classes in nearby villages.

Ephesians 5:1
Be ye therefore followers of God,
as dear children;

 Bound for Sierra Leone

My only desire is to serve the LORD
who is always faithful to me...
to share the Gospel with those
who need to hear that Jesus died,
was buried, and rose again...so that
they can be set free from sin.

Saying good-bye to family at the airport.

Leaving my brothers.....

...but still serving the same LORD.

Psalm 119:112
I have inclined mine heart
to perform thy statutes always,
even unto the end.
